Hi, I’m Lauren C Blanchet

B.A., J.D.  |  Barrister, Solicitor & Notary Public  |  Owner & Founder

I’d like to help you solve your legal issues.

I care deeply about my clients and my work, and I understand the challenges that people face when going through significant life changes. I strive to offer attention and respect and straightforward legal advice to all of my clients.

I reside in Pembroke with my husband, son, and husky, Sarge. I was brought to the area by my husband’s military posting and quickly developed an appreciation for the landscape and the people and feel this is the perfect place to call home.

I obtained my Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia in 2012. I went on to obtain my Juris Doctorate from Bond University on the Gold Coast of Australia, graduating with High Distinction. I was subsequently called to the Ontario Bar in 2016.

As a parent myself, I can understand the stresses of day-to-day family life and the impact a separation can have on both partners and children alike. Family Court matters are not only stressful emotionally, but take a toll financially as well. I always keep this in mind when trying to offer direct and cost-efficient services.

In addition to family law, I also have experience practicing Child Protection Law, Civil Litigation (particularly Personal Injury), Residential Real Estate and Wills and Estates. I am passionate about my practice and fresh perspective and to be able to offer my services to the residents of Renfrew County and surrounding areas.

Outside of the office, I can be found outside trying to wrangle my toddler, dog, our few chickens, and likely a foster dog too. I enjoy working out and exploring all that the Ottawa Valley has to offer with my family.

I am a member of the Renfrew County Law Association and the Law Society of Ontario.
